On Moon 36, Gray Fur is born to Dogwood Foot and Rock Ear alongside her siblings: Gold Pool, Squirrel Tuft, Thrush Pelt, and Twig Leaf. She was mentored by Brown Sky until Brown Sky died in a rogue attack; she was then mentored by Silver Tail. Gray Fur graduated at eleven moons old, honored for her tenacity.
